For years our amazing customers (that’s you) have been asking us to come out with Seabuckthorn Juice. Well, we did you one better. This weekend we are launching our brand new Seabuckthorn Juice Powder!

As many of you know Seabuckthorn packs an impressive nutritional punch. The plant itself contains over 190 bioactive nutrients, 18 amino acids, 17 vitamins, 14 minerals, full complex Vitamin E, and omegas 3 6 7 & 9. Between our nutritional vegan oils, wellness teas, and now our new juice powder our line allows you to take advantage of all the nutrition that our favourite plant has to offer.

Seabuckthorn Juice Powder contains some of the beautiful water soluble nutrients that the oil can’t offer, one of which being its high amounts of Vitamin C.  Seabuckthorn, although a berry, is technically considered a citrus and we don’t wonder why when you look at its Vitamin C content.  Even though Seabuckthorn berries are only 1/3 the size of a blueberry they pack 12x the amount of Vitamin C than an orange (gram for gram).

In addition to the high amounts of Vitamin C our new Seabuckthorn Juice Powder also contains high amounts of antioxidants (& flavonols), calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, & Vitamins E, B1, B6, & B9 (folate).  These nutrients come together to support your heart, skin, liver, mobility, & overall health. + They help to boost the immune system and banish bacterial toxins.

There are a couple of important reasons that we wanted to launch a Seabuckthorn Juice Powder instead of liquid juice.

  1. Seabuckthorn Juice (liquid) has to be pasturized for safety and to ensure bacteria won’t grow. Pasturizing the juice makes it lose a lot of the nutrition. Other companies sell Seabuckthorn Juice that is unpasteurized and shipped at room temperature (or higher) which leaves way for an almost never ending amount of dangerous bacterial issues we won’t get in to.
  2. Most Seabuckthorn Juice on the market is cut with other juices and thickeners to make it more appealing to the taste buds. Seabuckthorn is a little bit tart but it can be mixed to your taste.  We don’t see the point in ‘sugaring up’ the amazing benefits of these powders with ingredients like grape, pear, apple, & banana juices (not to mention the natural & aritificial flavours that a couple of the juices on the market have too).
  3. It costs you less. Shipping is a big expense that only seems to get greater by the day. By sticking with a juice powder as opposed to a liquid juice in a heavy glass container we were able to keep our prices lower so we don’t have to charge more to essentially ship water.
  4. It’s 100% pure seabuckthorn! We urge you to find a seabuckthorn juice on the market that is 100% pure – because we’ve looked and there isn’t one!
  5. It lasts longer. Even the pasturized seabuckthorn juices are recommended to be consumed within 30 days of opening and need to be refridgerated. Since our Seabuckthorn Juice Powder is in it’s pure (& obviously powdered form) it is able to be stored anywhere you like. You can leave it on your desk at work, pack it with you for your next camping/glamping expedition, or simply keep it in your kitchen cupboard. + It’s good for 2+ years from its date of harvest!

We hope you love this new addition to the family as much as we do. It can be stirred into water, blended into smoothies, frozen into popsicles, baked into delicious healthy treats, & so much more – the only limits are your imagination. To order visit our website: sbtseabuckthorn.com

++ Our new Seabuckthorn Juice Powder has very similar nutrition to that of our (discontinued) Berry Flavonol Muscle & Joint Pain Capsules so for any customer missing those capsules you will want to stock up on this powder.
